“BRIGHTEN”…Shine like a diamond Women’s Ministry – The purpose of this ministry is to minister to the needs of women as we fashion them to display God’s glory. The scripture that serves as a foundation is Proverbs 4:18 MSG, which states, “the ways of right living people glow with light; the longer they live, the brighter they shine.”

Creative & Ministering Arts – Lifting His praise according to Psalm 150, we provide inspired expression through vocal and instrumental music, as well as dramatic arts and artistic movement. Characterized by high praise, the ministry includes a dynamic praise and worship team, the “Silent Praise” mime ministry, “Spirit” interpretive dance teams for children and adults, and “Perfect Praise” children’s choir. Ministry of the Word is also accomplished through original dramatic productions performed with the ultimate goal of helping the unsaved come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and to bring those who know Jesus, deeper into His presence.

Deacon Ministry – Our purpose is to serve the Lord and the church. Deacon translated in Greek is “diakonos” meaning servant. In Mark 10:45, Jesus said, “I came not to be served, but to serve.” Deacons assist the Pastor in meeting the spiritual and physical needs of the Church. They assist by caring for the members and also in the preparation and administration of the Ordinances; service of Communion and Baptism; and in ministering to the spiritual interests of families in the Church and community.

Greeter Ministry – We are one of the first representatives of Jesus Christ seen by people entering the Sanctuary, God’s House. Greeters promote the atmosphere of spiritual love for each other, embrace acceptance of all who walk through the church doors and welcome them home. We work to maintain the quality of the worship atmosphere and the flow of the worship service by providing leadership, service and assistance to the minister and congregation.

Guest Services – A group of committed volunteers that are servants at heart. We offer the love of Christ to our members and guests. We serve at ministry events and encounters. We provide physical food in a spiritual environment.

Heart to Heart Marriage Ministry – This ministry is designed to strengthen and encourage marriage and family, by providing information, mentoring and enrichment activities for married couples. We do this by offering opportunities through bi-monthly “Moments from the Heart” sessions, the annual Fall “Becoming One” conference and various events throughout the year for marriage education and enrichment. Heart to Heart has the distinction of loving God, loving others and impacting the community through these activities and our own Heart to Heart Dance Ministry. All events are open to the community.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry – This ministry is designed to pray the will of God for His people. We pray that people will be saved, healed and delivered. Our goal is to pray a protective hedge of covering over our Pastor/family and that God’s Word will be taught in a spirit of boldness and power. We believe when we pray, we will be heard by our Heavenly Father and the angels move on our behalf.

“Kids With a Mission” Children’s Ministry – Our purpose is to provide an exciting kid-friendly atmosphere that is focused on introducing children to Christ and His love for us all. Our dedicated staff inspires the children to live a life devoted to Christ as they share His love with others. Ages 2-12.

Life Groups – These groups are formulated around 8-12 persons with a common theme. Life Groups are our way of loving others and celebrating the believer. You do not have to be a part of our local church to participate in Life Groups.

Media Services (Audio & Video) – Our mission is to aid people in maintaining their hearing of the Word of God through the availability of compact discs and digital video discs. Romans 10:17 ~ So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

“Men of Valor” – The purpose of this ministry is to minister to the needs of men. The scripture that serves as a foundation is Proverbs 27:17, which states, “iron sharpenth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” We endeavor to allow the Holy Spirit to change men into the image of Jesus Christ.

Ministerial Staff – The purpose of this staff is to aid in church leadership by assisting in various ministerial needs of the ministry and day-to-day advising/counseling obligations. This staff also represents the leadership at various ministry functions.

Music Ministry – Our purpose is based on biblical principles relative to praise and worship according to Psalm 47:7 and Psalm 100:1-2. The purpose is to assist and protect the anointing and prepare the hearts of the people so they may receive from God. This ministry works in conjunction with the Creative Ministering Arts Ministry.

New Member Orientation Ministry– Our purpose is to disciple, inform, and promote the assimilation and connection processes for those individuals who join the ministry. Classes are provided to give an overview and discussion of the biblical basis for the operation and beliefs of the ministry.

Outreach Ministry – Our desire is to see the people of God saved and reconnected to ensure they have the tools to fulfill their purpose in Christ.

Senior’s Ministry (Be Active Live Longer) – This is a ministry consisted of senior citizens 60 and over who are connected with a church member “buddy” for companionship, if needed. We meet once a month for events and worship.

“The S.P.O.T” Youth Ministry –  Saved, Purposed, Overcomer Transformed. To walk with youth ages 13-18 in their journey to know Christ by creating an environment in which they can participate in Christian fellowship that is fun, hear the gospel in a way that engages them and experience God’s love in a way that ignites them to respond in faith by loving God, loving others and becoming tomorrow’s world changers for Christ. Ages 13-18.

Usher Ministry – We serve as doorkeepers in the House of God (Psalm 84:10) to assist in the orderly conduct of the church Encounters. Ushers greet members, guests, and oversee other aspects related to orderly service.
